My Untitled Poem

Through the sad frowns
The cheerful smiles
Through the blessings
And through the trials

Through the shining sun
And the pouring rain
Through the happiness
And through your pain

Through our countless laughs
And the sorrowful tears
When your brutally hurt
Through your many fears

Through the rough days
And those sleepless nights
Through the tough times
And those pointless fights

When your heart is torn
And your beautifully broken
You can run to me
My arms are wide open

Through everything life throws at us
I know that this is true
No matter how hard it gets
I'll always stick with you

-Lauren Ashleigh

Cheezy? A little I guess.
Took me about 20 minutes to write. I was writing a song for some friends as a Christmas present. But that kind of just went down in flames, so I had to quickly write something. And this is what I came up with.
Still fixing it up a bit. I added another couple lines to it than the original I gave to them.

But, tell me what you think? :)

Wanna Be My Friend?

Lately, I've had this little obsession with making Friendship Bracelets. I think it's becoming a problem ;)

I remember back in elementry school this used to be so popular. And even in Sunday School. :)

Now, I'm going to Hobby Lobby to buy more string, I'm googling new designs, my mom even bought me this lot of like 132 different colored DMC floss, on Ebay. Aaaah!

I've made multiple new friends. Just because they saw my artistic talent in bracelet making.
I feel special having a bunch of random people flaunt that they're my friend ;)

Of course I don't think that a silly bracelet determines who I'm friends with.

I don't know why all of the sudden I started making them? I guess I'm just trying to cure boredom. Which is usually what I'm trying to do 99% of the time.

Yes, I did make all the ones in the picture. Those are just a couple of the endless pile of unfinished and some completed bracelets I've made.

The Meaning of Friendship Bracelets: "Originally made popular in the 70's, during the time of peave & love, they are symbolic, meaningful, and can also be quite fashionable."

So, would you like one? :D

My Trip to Hot Springs

Hello Friends,

To start out my "blogging career" I thought I would share some pictures from my recent trip to Arkansas.

My grandma and Gracie, my little cousin. Isn't she CUTE (:

My other baby cousin Curtis. Every time I got my camera out he would run over to me and basically steal it while saying "Iwannasee! Iwannasee! Iwannasee!" Gotta love him.

Me and brady (my older brother) shooting BB guns on Thanksgiving day. Don't worry, no one was injured... THAT day

This is what my family did ALL DAY LONG. Something called... Farmville???

We didn't drive 12 hours down there just to watch you take in lost cows and pick strawberries all day! (:

The Duck Boat. It's pretty much a boat on wheels. It goes off the road into the river for a tour of Hot Springs. People have died on Duck Boats. I rode on one a couple summers ago. I was wasn't scared.

We went on a vigerous hike up West Mountian. 2.5 to 3 miles. This was just the beginning...

The View! We were about half way up. We went to the peak next, and I kept hearing "We're almost there, We're almost there" then an hour later, we were there.

On our way back to Kentucky we stopped in Nashville, Tennessee. And went to the Grand Ole Opry to see there insane Christmas lights. This was there life sized nativity scene. They had speakers blaring out the Christmas story from Matthew and Luke. It was nice to know that they were witnessing to visitors, even at one A.M.(:

Me in front of the big tree of lights.

Well, that was my trip to Arkansas.

Thanks for reading :D
