...I still have a blog.
Who would of thought that a 16 year old homeschooler could be so busy?
But really I haven't been THAT busy.
I have been driving around in this AMAZING weather! I'm so excited for Spring. I guess I've already done my "Spring Cleaning." My room has been an utter mess for what seems like forever, cause I officially have no where to put anything. So my dad found something big he could threaten me with. . .
Driving.
"Lauren...You are not getting behind the wheel of a car again until you do something with your room."
I was actually excited he said that, because I've been wanting to clean my room. But now I had a good reason to clean my room. It was much easier.
So, I spent my whole Saturday in my room finding a place for my stuff, I come out of the room with 3 1/2 filled black trash bags.
I also now have a little bit more money for my (tiny) college fund. I found a penny every now and then, and sometimes even a dime!
Now I just need to find a job...
I'm thinking about applying at The Gap Outlet actually.
Well, bless you for reading my pointless blog. ;)

Aimless, Haphazard and Random.
To be honest, I forgot I had a blog. I know, I know, "Lauren, How could you!?"
Well see, my life just isn't exciting right now. I'm a homeschooler, I almost never leave the house. Unless I'm going to church or to the grocery store. My life is pretty boring at times, and writing down my life on a blog would just bore the 2-3 readers I have to death. (:
I guess you could call this an "Aimless, Haphazard and Random Blog"?? Three words that sometimes describe my life ;)
I promise I'll get more exciting soon!
On January 19th 2010-
I passed my Driving Permit Exam! And I am officially driving on real roads now. Haven't stepped up to the big interstate yet, I think my mom is more nervous than I am. July 19th 2010 is when I can get my license!
Now, I'm just sitting here thinking of what to write about next. It's not that I have so much to write about, it's that I have absolutely nothing interesting to write about.
Ah-ha! Well, this is old-ish news. But some of you may find it funny.
We were on our way home from dinner one night about two months ago, and I found my little 7 year old brother, Brock, writing on the steamed up car window. I wish I took a picture! But he drew a big heart and wrote "Brock loves Anna"
[I think it was Anna, he's had so many girlfriends there names have become a blur]
I asked him "Is that your girlfriend?"
he responded "Mmmhmmm."
A couple weeks ago I asked him if he had a girlfriend,
and he said "Yes, Anna. But kids make fun of us at recess time."
Poor Brock, that's sad. But I can't help but smile. (:
But, yes my brother has had his fair share of "girlfriends." For about a year now he has been telling me about how my best friend and him are going to get married. Also, he's told me about how he had a third grade girlfriend that lives down the street. And for the longest time when he was 2 or 3, he thought my cousin was his girlfriend.
Moral of the story is,
"Apparently my brother is a chick magnet?"
(:

My Untitled Poem
Through the sad frowns
The cheerful smiles
Through the blessings
And through the trials
Through the shining sun
And the pouring rain
Through the happiness
And through your pain
Through our countless laughs
And the sorrowful tears
When your brutally hurt
Through your many fears
Through the rough days
And those sleepless nights
Through the tough times
And those pointless fights
When your heart is torn
The cheerful smiles
Through the blessings
And through the trials
Through the shining sun
And the pouring rain
Through the happiness
And through your pain
Through our countless laughs
And the sorrowful tears
When your brutally hurt
Through your many fears
Through the rough days
And those sleepless nights
Through the tough times
And those pointless fights
When your heart is torn
And your beautifully broken
You can run to me
My arms are wide open
Through everything life throws at us
I know that this is true
No matter how hard it gets
I'll always stick with you
-Lauren Ashleigh

Cheezy? A little I guess.
Took me about 20 minutes to write. I was writing a song for some friends as a Christmas present. But that kind of just went down in flames, so I had to quickly write something. And this is what I came up with.
Still fixing it up a bit. I added another couple lines to it than the original I gave to them.
But, tell me what you think? :)

Wanna Be My Friend?
Lately, I've had this little obsession with making Friendship Bracelets. I think it's becoming a problem ;)
Now, I'm going to Hobby Lobby to buy more string, I'm googling new designs, my mom even bought me this lot of like 132 different colored DMC floss, on Ebay. Aaaah!
The Meaning of Friendship Bracelets: "Originally made popular in the 70's, during the time of peave & love, they are symbolic, meaningful, and can also be quite fashionable."
I remember back in elementry school this used to be so popular. And even in Sunday School. :)

I've made multiple new friends. Just because they saw my artistic talent in bracelet making.
I feel special having a bunch of random people flaunt that they're my friend ;)
Of course I don't think that a silly bracelet determines who I'm friends with.
I don't know why all of the sudden I started making them? I guess I'm just trying to cure boredom. Which is usually what I'm trying to do 99% of the time.
Yes, I did make all the ones in the picture. Those are just a couple of the endless pile of unfinished and some completed bracelets I've made.

So, would you like one? :D
